The Cosmic Horizons game is intended to serve as a simulation in a game format, which puts participants in everyday situations and tests their ability to manage the cooperative, their decision-making and group work.During the game, the player assumes the management of a cooperative that is supporting an interplanetary colonization project and must provide credit lines for the planet terraforming project.A game is made up of 3 two-year cycles, where each year is equivalent to one game round.
The result accumulated by each team over the course of each cycle is compared to that of its competitors and listed in a ranking updated at the end of the cycle.At each round, the team must define the lines of credit it wishes to use and establish the parameters that will be applied in each of them, seeking not to exceed the exposure limits established for exploration.
The parameters defined by the team influence the adhesion of the planets population to each line of credit and the profitability at the end of the cycle.At the beginning of each cycle, the team receives an overview of their cooperatives performance to guide their decisions during the stages of the round.
In addition, at each cycle a new event is presented to the players, bringing modifications to the parameters initially established.
